Ami Susewitz is a therapist committed to helping children, teens, and adults improve their overall well-being through creating individualized client-centered treatment plans. Ami's work focuses on utilizing a strengths-based perspective, integrating Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic interventions. Ami is also passionate about providing perinatal support, this includes those who are expecting or have already given birth. Ami helps promote healthy social emotional development by utilizing an integral focus on attachment, while also working to address all of the mixed emotions that come with parenthood.
Ami has a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Spring Arbor University. She is currently finishing an Infant Mental Health endorsement and is certified in both Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Integrated Health Care. She has experience working with infants, children/adolescents, guardians and families in home, office, school and medical settings. She has worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life changes, and those that are just trying to keep it together day too day.
