Diana has been a clinical therapist since 2018 and has worked in the mental health field since 2014. She has a passion for helping individuals achieve their mental health goals and am empathetic to their needs.
She graduated from Wayne State University in 2018 with a Master of Social Work specializing in Interpersonal Practice with a focus on Family Systems Theory and Family Interventions. She also received a graduate certificate program in alcohol and drug abuse studies. Her bachelor's degree was also in social work, with a minor in psychology. Diana has experience working at a residential treatment center and in outpatient community mental health. She specialized in anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and communication. She likes to utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, prolonged exposure therapy, humanistic, person-centered, and strength-based.
