“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today, I am wise, so I am changing myself.” -Rumi
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step. We all face challenges in our lives that can benefit from the guidance of therapy. These times can be an opportunity to expand our thinking and heal our past. Ebru welcomes you to begin a better way to connect with yourself and interact with the world around you.
She strongly believes that through counseling one can make life changes and develop the life and social skills needed to overcome obstacles and live more satisfying and successful lives. She uses a variety of approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) especially children-focused and family-focused, solution-focused, and client-centered therapy.
Ebru received her Bachelor’s in Social Work and is currently a Master’s in Social Work student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice. She is expected to graduate in August 2023 and plans to continue working to receive full licensure.
