Margaret was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and recently returned to begin her career as a clinical social worker. She previously worked as a Director of Audience Services for several large not-for-profit theaters in Chicago, which is where she developed her interest in working closely with individuals in groups. After obtaining her MSW from Loyola University in 2022, she was excited to come home to start her next adventure.

 

      Margaret enjoys working both individually with clients and in group, and is passionate about the importance of building strong, supportive communities. She is trained in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and also employs an eclectic approach including biofeedback and family systems theory to help clients achieve their goals.
