Greetings, my name is Barbara Thomas. I received my Social Work undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and my graduate degree from The Ohio State University in Social Work, with a Business Administration focus. I have worked in a variety of community settings including Home Base Services, hospitals, and residential and virtual locations. I have serviced children, teens, adults, and older adults also known as the Geriatric population experiencing homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction, COVID-19, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, and more. I have provided therapeutic services with the following treatment modalities:

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Use Treatment, Strengths Based Therapy and Anger Management Interventions. I believe in meeting you where you are in your journey for you to balance yourself in your space.
