Kate Adkins
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LLMSW

Starting therapy can bring up many feelings, whether this is your first experience or you’ve tried therapy before. My priority is creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel safe showing up exactly as you are. I believe we are all doing the best we can with the tools, experiences, and information we have in each moment, and I approach every client with kindness, curiosity, and understanding.
I’m passionate about helping you build the insight and confidence needed to advocate for your needs. I often think of my role as similar to a hiking guide when life begins to feel unclear or overwhelming. You are the expert on your own experiences — my role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore what feels right for you while offering support, perspective, and tools along the way.
I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and believe that feeling genuinely seen, supported, and connected is a vital part of this journey. I strive to create a space that feels grounding, collaborative, and approachable, while also leaving room for authenticity, comfort, and even humor. If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s okay. Let’s talk through it together.
