Clinicial Social Work/Therapist, LLMSW
Joanna Adamusik
I offer a supportive and collaborative space where clients can feel safe being themselves, even when things feel overwhelming or uncertain. My goal is to create an environment that feels grounded, respectful, and free of judgment, where you can explore what’s going on at your own pace. I take an integrative approach to therapy using a variety of treatment approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to tailor treatment to each person and support both insight and practical change.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University and have experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, stress, and life transitions, including domestic violence and PTSD. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth. Together, we can work toward building understanding, strengthening coping, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
